|Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City Arrival|
You are met at Tan Son Nhat International Airport by your guide and taken to your hotel in the centre of Ho Chi Minh City. You are then free to relax or explore at your leisure after your long flight.

|Day 2: City Tour – Củ Chi Tunnels (B/L/D)|
The heart and soul of South Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh is a bustling, dynamic and industrious city. It is not only the largest city in Viet Nam, it is also the economic capital and trendsetter of Vietnam. The HCM City tour starts with a visit to the imposing Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat). The next stop is the Notre Dame Cathedral, the most famous landmark in HCM as the twin bell towers is visible from afar. In the same square is the famous Saigon Post Office, the largest functioning post office in Vietnam. What makes this Post Office so extraordinary is that it was designed and built by Gustave Eiffel who also designed and built the Eiffel Tower and Statue of Liberty. It is a building not to be missed!
After Lunch, You will visit the famous and extraordinary Cu Chi Tunnels. The tunnels were built by the Viet Cong guerillas and formed a labyrinth virtually underneath the U.S bases and were used for surprise raids and to avoid air strikes. The tunnels themselves extend over 200 kilometers and for short stretches are accessible to visitors.

|Day 3: SG – Mekong Delta – SG (B/L/-)|
We start the day with a scenic drive through the Mekong Delta, home to the richest agricultural lands in Vietnam. At My Tho, we take a boat trip to an island that has rich, fertile orchard gardens and take a horse-drawn cart to Quoi Son to visit a bee farm and enjoy various local teas and candies. Back onboard the boat, we gently float down the tree-lined canals of the Mekong Delta then stop to visit a family-run enterprise that produces coconut candy. We will also have a delicious lunch at the orchard garden. We return late afternoon by boat to My Tho. We then visit Vinh Trang Pagoda and road back to Ho Chi Minh City. This evening is at leisure.

|Day 4: SG – Đà Nẵng – Hội An (B/-/-)|
After breakfast, you transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport to catch the flight to Da Nang City in the Central region of Vietnam. Upon your arrival, you will be picked up and taken to the charming old town of Hoi An.
You have the rest of the day to explore the town. You can then take the afternoon to relax and be lazy on the beach or be more adventurous by setting out to explore the surroundings of Hoi An by cycle… the choice is yours. Another option is to go by boat to visit the handicraft villages that specialize in ceramics and boat building.

|Day 5: Hội An (B/L/D)|
Enjoy a walking tour through the narrow and ancient streets of this charming town. Perhaps more than any other place in Vietnam, Hoi An retains the feel of centuries past. Once known as Faifo, Hoi An was an influential port along the Silk Road. For over 500 years, merchants from China, Japan, France and Portugal settled in the prosperous town resulting in a distinctive blend of culture, cuisine, religions and architecture. The town has the status as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999, listed for having the ‘most unique’ architecture in Southeast Asia.It has been restored and protected by both the UNESCO funding and proud locals ever since. The tour takes in the Chinese Assembly Halls, the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and old family houses.
Hoi An is a very comfortable place to be for tourists who are well catered for with the many restaurants, Café’s and bars and shops that not only sell clothes and shoes, they will also make something to order within a 24 hour period. And everything is within easy walking distance. The evenings are charming when the many lanterns light the riverside and the bridge.

|Day 6: Hội An – Huế (B/L/D)|
We leave Hoi An and travel north to Hue through the emerald-green paddy fields. Hue was the political, economic and cultural capital of Vietnam during the Nguyen Dynasty (1802–1945) and used to be the home of past emperors. You have the opportunity to stop en route to take pictures at the summit of Hai Van Pass of the Lang Co Beach. We also visit the Cham Museum located in Da Nang City. The museum offers the most extensive collection of Cham art sculptures throughout the world. The sculptures date from the 7th to the 15th century.
Our tour of Hue starts at the beautiful Imperial Citadel, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site since 1993. The Citadel includes the Imperial City and Forbidden City. Enjoy the various palaces, ornate halls, libraries, residences, colleges, Flag Tower and Noon Gate. We then visit the traditional Dong Ba Market, a typical market that has existed in this way for centuries where vendors sprawl their goods out for you to walk around and select the items you want.

|Day 7: Huế – Phong Nha – Hà Nội (B/L/D)|
From Huế City, relax for a drive to the World Natural Heritage Site of Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park, located in the Quang Binh Province of Central Vietnam. Explore and discover the breathtaking beauty of the caves. The park not only has beautiful limestone formations, grotto caves and forest, but it also contains the largest primeval forest in Vietnam and the biggest limestone mountain range on the planet. Many views this Province as the most magnificent in Viet Nam but in a country that abounds with such diverse and extraordinary scenery, it is always going to a personal preference. From Phong Nha Wharf, we take a boat trip on the Son River to visit the Phong Nha Grotto.
After an exciting day exploring the National Park, we head to Đồng Hới airport to catch the flight to Hanoi. You are met at Noi Bai International Airport by your guide and taken to your hotel in the centre of Ha Noi. You are then free to relax or explore at your leisure after your long flight.

|Day 8: Hà Nội (B/L/D)|
After breakfast, city tour of Hanoi starts with a visit to the One-Pillar Pagoda. We will then take a drive to visit the Temple of Literature. The temple was built in October 1073 to worship Confucius and is considered to be the first university in Vietnam. We will then drive to Hoan Kiem Lake where you will see Ngoc Son Temple which worships Van Xuong saint and Tran Hung Dao, a former general commander. Hanoi is one of the few places found in this part of the world that has such elegance. Walk down the tree lined boulevards where we see many French influences such as Hanoi Opera House, the State Bank, the former Governor’s palace, and the Hanoi Cathedral (Saint Joseph’s built in the late 19th century).
Later in the afternoon, you will walk around the 36 streets in the Old Quarter of Hanoi followed by a welcome dinner at one of the many local restaurants. After that, you are free to explore on your own or take it easy and relax in your hotel room.

|Day 9: Hanoi – Ninh Bình – Hà Nội (B/L/D)|
Today we will travel 80 km south of Ha Noi to the beautiful area of Ninh Binh. This area is described as “Ha Long Bay on land” the area boasts an abundance of remarkable landscape, ancient cultures and historical sites.
On arrival, we take a relaxing sampan ride through the gentle and elegant landscape of plains and mountains leading to the mysterious Tam Coc Grottoes followed by a gentle cycle ride (4km) to Bich Dong Cave. A second boat ride then allows you to bask in the typical scenery of this area with rice fields surrounded by imposing mountains as we head for the Bich Dong Pagoda and the Thai Vy Temple. Built in the 13th century, the Temple offers magnificent insights, depth into the ancient Vietnamese culture and architecture… The next stop is at Hoa Lu, the former capital of the Dinh and early Le dynasties between the 10th and 11th centuries.
After a spectacular day, we head back to Ha Noi. Later in the evening, we have dinner at one of the local restaurants before going to see the unique and intriguing Water Puppet Show,a traditional folk performance held on the Red River Delta.

On the day of your departure, you are free to shop, relax and do whatever you would like at your own leisure until your transfer time to Noi Bai International Airport for the departure flight.
